American Cancer Society provides an update of 5-year relative corresponding survival rate based on pancreatic cancer stages and it’s as follow:

Pancreatic Cancer Stage I: 12% - 14%;

Pancreatic Cancer Stage II: 5%; - 7%

Pancreatic Cancer Stage III: 3%;

Pancreatic Cancer Stage IV: 1%.

Early treatment is an important factor to improve the 5-year relative survival rate of pancreatic cancer. Doctors measure treatment plan and predict patients’ prognosis for pancreatic cancer patients based on staging information.

The spread to nearby lymph nodes (N): NX mean regional lymph nodes cannot be assessed due to lack information; N0 show it has not spread to nearby lymph nodes; N1 show had spread to nearby lymph nodes.
