Cultural Exchange Conference on Unknown Aspects of the Philippines

On Oct. 26, 2018, a delegation of Consulate General of the Philippines in Guangzhou conducted a visit to St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou. In the afternoon, co-organized by Consulate General of the Philippines in Guangzhou, a themed lecture “Borderless Friendship and Endless Service - Cultural Exchange Conference on Unknown Aspects of the Philippines” was held in St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou.

In the afternoon, Mr. Tu Xiaoming, the general manager of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, extended warm reception to the delegation. He remarked, “Over the past few years, MCHG has conducted frequent mutual visits and exchanges with all kinds of organizations from the Philippines and medical cooperation has been reached.

In-depth discussion at Remote Consultation Center of MCHG

During the conference, Mr. Marshall Louis M. Alferez, the consul general, gave a speech and noted that, “With mutual visits and exchanges over the past years, we’ve established profound friendship. The lecture aims to conduct cultural exchanges and strengthen the friendly relation between China and the Philippines. I sincerely invite all of you to experience exotic culture and custom of the Philippines in the coming days.”

Ms. Maria Victoria S. Dimaculangan, the Cultural Officer of Consulate General of the Philippines in Guangzhou, gave a specific introduction of the language, custom, religion and cultural environment of the Philippines. She also taught audiences how to call their family members and friends in Filipino.

It brought the atmosphere to a climax when Ms. Maria Victoria S. Dimaculangan set up award-winning games to assess how much the audience learned from the Filipino class. Special local gifts from the Philippines were arranged and given to the winners of the games.

How We Treat Cancer?

Interventional Therapy

Interventional Therapy is a new substitute of traditional chemotherapy, which means that a physician introduces instruments such as needles or catheters (long, thin tubes) into the body through tiny(1-2 mm) incisions in the skin.
