From October 1st to 4th, the 2018 World Cancer Congress, themed on“Strengthen, Inspire, Deliver”, hosted by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The conference was attended by more than 3,000 delegates from 139 countries around the world, among them, Lin Zhicheng, president of St. Stamford International Medical Group, Lin Daoxuan, medical director, Jin Nongyi, chief executive officer, Lin Shaohua, Dean of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, and Zhuo Liangfei, manager of Kuala Lumpur office of St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, and professor Xu Haitao was also invited to the conference.

On the morning of October 1st, delegations of St. Stamford International Medical Group participated in a chapter jointly organized by the president of Malaysian Breast Cancer Welfare Association Ranjit Kaur and Wang Tianfeng, the president of the Global Chinese Breast Cancer Organizations Alliance.

In the conference, president Ranjit Kaur shared medical experience in the prevention and treatment of breast cancer, minimally invasive therapy and supportive treatment of breast cancer, based on those, she also conducted a discussion on further development with representatives of St. Stamford International Medical Group. After the meeting, Dean Lin Shaohua sincerely invited two experts to participate in the parallel session themed on “Deliver Integrated Medicine and Establish an Excellent Hospital”, hosted by St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou on the afternoon of October 3.

How We Treat Cancer?

Interventional Therapy

Interventional Therapy is a new substitute of traditional chemotherapy, which means that a physician introduces instruments such as needles or catheters (long, thin tubes) into the body through tiny(1-2 mm) incisions in the skin. The instruments are then guided by an imaging technique called fluoroscopy to the cancer tumor. In this way, the physician can deliver cancer medicine directly to the tumor.more info

Cryotherapy Therapy

Cryotherapy Therapy, also known as “Argon-Helium Knife Cryotherapy”, is a new substitute of traditional physical therapy. Practically speaking it is “extreme cold + extreme heat” cancer treatment. Generally, a minimum of 10-15 minutes is required to achieve an extreme analgesic (pain relieving) effect while lowering the temperature to the injured area, thus reducing the metabolic rate and swelling associated with tissue injury.more info

Particle Knife

Particle Knife is a new substitute of traditional radiation therapy. With the help of computer Treatment Planning System (TPS), radioactive particles will be implanted into tumors. The particles which release γ-rays can continuously kill tumor and cause destruction targeting tumor cells.
